
WFO exception advice
Hi techies. I am become father of baby boy . As per Flexible working Hours policy ,I am eligible for WFO exception. But my project manager/ supervisor are unprofessional not allowing me for WFO exception. But For childcare I am eligible for WFO exception. Pls advise genuine feedback,how to tackle to get WFO exception.

First of all congrats. Although this is right, HR would finally say it is at the discretion of project. Nevertheless I suggest you to talk and make them understand about the policy and then if not talk to HR and get it done.
But do everything over email.

Congratulations!!! Drop and email to HR , Supervisor and Teamlead mentioning you have started your parenthood journey and would like to avail the benefit of child bonding mentioned in the policy. Apply WFH under Parent for child care and upload your baby birth certificate and share the request number.

What would be my approach. My supervisor is not supportive . although I have even nutral relationship with my supervisor. But he is not helping me any way. So first I have to talk directly,then if he can not consider.then I can involve hr. Give some input. Thank you in advance.
