WFO all 5 days, no exception.
In my project my TL is not approving any WFH until there is any impact on deliverables. We are forced to apply leave or come to the office all 5 days a week. Any idea what to do or what is the policy of WFH?
We are not having WFO mode. It is WFOH. Technically it is hybrid mode. Just not in days but in hours. If WFH is not allowed then why do I need to login after leaving office. Why do I need to take laptop with me to my home. I’ll keep it in the office itself. And OOO would be literally true.
All these is non sense from top management. If you can provide proper rationale don’t force employees to come to office. Instead tell the real reasons.
And we work on weekends for code release ! I would want to stop that too ! I guess Only reason for this is silent layoffs!
Now govt also has proposed to incentivise employers for all freshers which employer contribution of epfo this will be even good news for guys like tcs looking to layoff exp and hire freshers!!
Drop mail to your manager stating the reason and then raise exception in system simple

Or can i punch from TCS New Delhi Noida office(if hometown office is not possible) .......initially i was told to punch from New Delhi -Gurgaon office location?
If your project manager allows you to work from any location then there won’t be any issue as such you can punch in for few hours from any nearby tcs office. Just raise a request in 2 office without seat so as it will reflect beside your name that you have been working from office

Exceptions are everywhere. Talk with your TL

No escape if project management itself is setting such rules. For wfh there are some exceptions that can be raised with valid documents like health, client approval, working in different shift, child care, maternity etc.. once applied it goes to ur supervisor and then to hr for approval.
