Is the pressure to wfo specific to projects? I am from hyd and we have much pressure from teams to wfo 5days/week my team members from Bangalore has similar situation! But have met someone in a family function who works in Bengaluru but from a different project and she said they are doing wfh no they are not pressuring us to wfo !! Kind of completely contrast situations

My project is from waverock Hyderabad and we were also told to come to office 5 days. They are not giving us wfh. I kept 1 week leave because of that. From next month they will track 9 hours as well🥲. At least if the project is good we can consider something but I didn't like the project and the manager is also a big headache🤦

Totally depends on the project which we get.
I’ll suggest even if your project doesn’t ask you to do 5 days , you still should , I’ve lost my pay and got a delayed promotion because of this , so I’ll suggest if it’s worth loosing pay and slowed promotion than work from home !

Yes, Even I have heard from other project associates that not every project is asking to wfo for 5 days some are still following hybrid, some are just swiping at the nearest location. But in my last project it was mandatory to wfo for 5 days and that to from the base location only they would also track 9 hours.

It is really worthy in my case ! I spend 3 times more than the qva I get approximately and i am very allergic to dust,have got sinusitis issue and am consulting dr’s for a second opinion to see if its required to go for a surgery , i had it done once 10yrs ago ! I was suffering from it from 4-5 yrs now ! Initially when wfo started i asked for wfh for 1 month and HR is very proactive and asked for medical proofs once submitted I didn’t hear from hr even after multiple remainder emails! I told my lead I have submitted documents and now don’t blame me for not comming to ofc when team is reluctant to grant wfh.
I have to travel for 2 hrs one way ! Every day or afternate day I would feel ill ! Continuing to wfo despite these hardships!! These guys at the top are thinking/treating employees as machines that generate revenue! Revenue of tcs if goes up 13-14% cxo’s takes/makes cr may be 20-30cr and employees gets less than inflation hike !!!
Tcs is making people stay under poverty line . I have come to a point I wanted to resign asap once market stabilises a bit more

WFO exception option is good option to avail WFH and still be compliant.. Thought you should be in good books of your manager/supervisor
