WFO + Hours
Got informed by HR over a call yesterday that now onwards WFO ke saath we need to clock in 9 hours as well. My commute takes 1.5 hours each way. Time to update my CV sheesh

Any official mail or document stating that?

Nope, not yet

I have seen that they have included these components separately in 2 policies
- RTO non compliance policy (85% is minimum)
- Working hours policy (they mentioned physical presence is needed for 9hrs a day in TCS office)
We can conclude the above statement by you is true.

No extra support on Saturday from now on🥳🥳🥳

But what if manager forces? In my project when we give timeline for a particular development say 5 days and suppose on a Thursday that work is assigned we are said that client can't give more than 2 days and hence we need to compensate on the weekend so that it can be delivered to client on Monday.. Recently, every Friday evening, they assign critical defects saying that they need to be completed ASAP and, if not completed, will need to sit on weekends and complete. Can't wait till Monday. This happened back to back many Fridays in the past 2-3 months.

Oh oh..got to start looking for another job
Can we leave our laptops in the office?

Why would you do that

Yes, depends on your seacured Odc, speak with your manager about it. People in my extended team leave their laptops in office stating that they have to travel in rush hours hence it's risky, and they don't entertain office work before and after working hours.

Yah it true , there is a new hr policy in ultimatrix 🥲

When they say like that we should boldly say arrange a bed and pillow we will sleep in office why to go home just for that approx 6 hours of sleep ! I heard one guy in such a call last time when hr said “we are told to ask ppl to come to ofc 5 days but if your manager is fine with 3 days you talk internally and maintain atleast 3 days” this man suddenly out of nowhere raised his voice and said “if everybody comes to ofc daily odc spaces won’t be sufficient!!! “ I think ppl in np can talk freely atleast
