Hello everyone

I really do not understand why companies force employees to do things they don’t like ? I mean any company wants profits and productivity from employees don’t they? So why do they force each employee to work from office for 10 hours or more Why can’t they just make a policy like if employee wants to work from office they can work from office Or if they want to work from home they can work from home?

Not all people like work from home and not all people like work from office so why can’t employees do what they want ? But yeah if they are working from home they can be monitored and if they do not work properly strict actions can be taken against them.

Simple point is - an employee can be healthy work really well and be productive if and only if they are comfortable with their working atmosphere.

Why does mom keep asking everyone at home to eat at the dining table, why can’t they just eat wherever they want?

If you have found the reason for the above, you’re on the right track to finding the answer for your qn

Well if everyone eats wherever they want some will eat in their bedrooms watching youtube or something
And some will eat near the tv
Everyone goes to their preferred place and sit and loose the beautiful time and moment of sitting together without tv just talking and eating together .. mom wants to make sure that her family wont miss these beautiful moments because they wont be together forever
Kids will go to foreign for studies or they marry and settle elsewhere … then the kids and even the parents will not get these memories again

I guess i know this answer but cannot figure out the mindset of software company ceo and other managing staff

I cannot work remotely.
