WFH walkaround

I have been recently alloted a project after my ILP training ( p.s I am a fresher and joined TCS as my first job ) the project does not have WFH. Is possible if i do work from home and get my QVP deducted as i think i will make more saving this way. Also do I need permission of my manager for this? Thanks in advance.
