Wfh in TCS for new mom

I asked for wfh permission to take care of my 1.2 year old baby since I was taking care alone. But my hr mentioned and refused that the policy supports till the baby turns one year. Please suggest any options. I couldn't find any trustable person to take care of my baby that's the reason requested for work from home but they are not considering it as an option.

This is true..look for a project which doesn't have ODC in ur reporting location..this way as the team doesn't exist,u can go fr a swipe at convince time and work from home..hire a nanny if needed..

Also many projects are raising exception request as they don't have ODC..

Its such a shame , We have mothers who after giving
birth and within a year started working by handling both taking Care of baby , Managing home and Working towards the project as well... Still this company does not understand them and value their efforts... such a shame.😢

Sometimes I really wonder if this just a few bucks of money is worth missing those precious moments of growing up of your own kid..

I am too facing the same issue and I too raised an exception to hr which was rejected. Suggestions are many but I would say go with ur mother instinct. Do whatever you feel is right for u and baby even if that means to go on extended leave as unfortunately this company doesn't understand our situation.

I remember the times when my 8 month old kid used to run behind me.... I really wonder why i was tolerating all the policies that is not employee friendly.i personally think finding a remote home job is best until the baby goes to school .
