Trending @Accenture; WFH for 2 months ?

I have been following the RTO rule from Jan 2025 (even before rto was compulsory) , never ever missed a single week till now . Followed all the rules of rto till now but planning to take WFH for around 2 months because I haven't been home since Jan 2025. I'm planning to go in mid oct 2025 and return around starting December. I have informed my PEOPLE LEAD ,he suggested inform the management just before one week and give excuse as family emergency then only you can get approval.

What should I do ? Any suggestions? Will there be any actions on me from hr side? Will it impact me in any ways ?

He is correct. No matter how punctual u are or if u are following rules or not. The policy is like that only not to allow for personal reasons like meeting family or festive season. They will only allow if u are family have health issue. And than also they will not give u 2 month wfh for sure. At most 1 month but that also difficult they will give u only 15 days wfh.
