Trending @Infosys; WFH extension

Recently I spoke to my Reporting Manager regarding WFH extension as my mother needs medical assistance because she is going under intensive medical treatment.

My manager told me to write one mail to lead HR regarding this issue with a medical report, I did the same and mailed her with the Manager.

Now the lead HR said that they are not reviewing or validating medical reports so they are not going to consider the request. So I have to reach my Manager or Delivery Manager for the WFH extension.

Now what should I do? I am totally upset that in this state no one is trying to understand the issue.

For you , your parents should be priority. Job is also necessary but let this things straight to your manager that it's a very serious concern for you and just put papers if they don't accept wfh

Exceptions or only for self medical cases. But your manager can request HR to get you mothers medical report reviewed by infosys doctors and get an opinion on the genuineness and seriousness’s of you situation. Then your manager has to work with your DM to get you that exception.

Even in my case also after approval from Infy doctor they gave only 1 month WFH only now due to account level 3 days mandatory in InfyMe I need to go to office

Your HR seems to be as useful as a chocolate teapot. "Not reviewing medical reports"? What's next? Not reviewing resumes? "Maa ki aankh", they need a reality check. What's their job description, anyway?
