WFH exception not getting approved
I've applied WFH due to some medical and family issues, but HR is not approving even after poking on teams multiple times. What should I do?? I've been messaging the HR multiple times on teams , she has seen but she is not replying. This is really very unprofessional.
Send an email. If she doesn't act send a reminder on top of that email. If she still doesn't reply cc her manager. If they still didn't reply send one more reminder and then cc manager's manager. Some folks only feel accountable when their manager is involved.
Raise short term exception and get it approved from your Supervisor. These requests don’t need HR approval and can be raised in chunks of 5days each
For family medical issues, exigent circumstances are needed to get wfh. If there is sufficient proof of exigency, you can apply for an exception and raise to HR
Those are getting rejected inspite of medical reports 🙄. Need to have rapport with approver and manager, since they can easily approve sets of 5 days at one go, without HR interference.

Just go, they can't do much. If you give someone undue power, puny humans are bound to misuse it.
In my case they told me that medical exception goes to TCS doctor evaluation before approval
How many days it's been since you applied for exception ? It happens to me too they will approve or deny it at start of your wfo exception date so you have to wait or send remainder mails to hr
Okay I saw this on Insta reel, apparently if you need any approval from HR then just tell your HR that you will do suicide if he/she doesn't approve.
