West Bengal BJP manifest promises:

PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi will be increased from ₹6,000 to ₹9,000.
The freebies culture was started by AAP and Congress
Now if some other party doesn't give freebies, they won't come to power. Simple. We are fucked.
They never deposited any cash amount directly into bank account if I remember. They made education healthcare free , women bus ride free which is not a freebie but welfare scheme . Capping was put on electricity bill as well so people consciously used less electricity. But what other regional parties are doing is insane .
Congress made freebies(transferring cash to bank accounts directly) a standard norm after karnataka and telangana state elections. That's why the BJP lost in Karnataka. All the villages voted for congress due to freebies. After karnataka elections, every party started to announce freebies just to stay in competition.

It's easier than actually creating jobs. Also Bengal politics has been based on these freebies under the pretext of "social welfare schemes" since CPM rule.
People are getting used to getting free money with no hard work. As long as there's food in belly there will be no proper protest against this freebies system
