BIMARU states need the extra money to develop, that is what is wealth distribution. But the sheer mismanagement and corruption plaguing these states makes us question whether wealth distribution is working at all.
Exactly. Its okay if BIMARU gets an additional 30 paise to develop and utilize it properly. Rich states cannot be mute spectators for corruption happening with their money.

Nope. Such states can be given additional funds and special statuses ( just like now) . But you cannot take away bulk of tax revenues arising from a state to put it into another state. 20-30 percent of their share for national use is reasonable . Anything more seems like Robinhood.

This is not the wealth distribution that needs to be fixed, the 0.01% hoarding most of the nation's wealth, while paying zero income, business or inheritance taxes (a burden which falls on to the working class in form of income, goods and services tax) is.
