We live in a very 'sexualized' world: Instagram and P*rnhub

I feel so. Everywhere, online. Instagram, Reddit, Twitter even. Everywhere you go, just women incentivized to show more body. Not that there's anything wrong with that, people should wear what they find comfortable.

But I feel as a man, it can be pretty distracting because it's not your original intention to get distracted.

And then of course everything the porn industry has created.

I wonder if men were like how we are, 100 years ago from now. Did they also get as frequently disturbed? Or was staying focused more easy. Was having a family life also easier because of this?

I wonder. Would love to know your thoughts.

P.S: I absolutely do not wish to make women feel like what they're doing is wrong. I don't think it is. I'm just sharing my views of what it does to me, as a man.

SMH. Men. If it weren't for the male gaze, women would be dressing much more comfortably and with lot more skin visible. Take a trip to London / NY / Bali where it's traditionally safer for women to see how much skin is on display.

Women gaze doesn't exist, why are men not dressing more 'comfortably'?

I am sorry but tighter dresses and heels are never comfortable
We are expected to wear them at functions and it's a function of society Same with make up

Few issues with your post or mindset:

  1. Instagram and P*rnhun, are you serious?
  2. You are generalizing. Obviously, there would be some who would be incentivising (say 5-10%), but saying and using words like everywhere, and that all are doing this is wrong.
  3. Now talking about 5-10% of those, you are very conveniently shifting the blame to them. Those 5-10% are doing that because people like you want that. No one is forcing you to go to insta or any social media. You are specifically looking for such content and then say you are distracted.
And whats with Prnhun, what else are you expecting in that website, you want Mahabharat or Ramayan episodesthere???Dude, you are going to that website to see prn and then you blame and try to be philosophical here.

Get your mindset right. You need to perceive the world in a slightly different way.

The question that you raised are genuine but your post seems quite vulnerable. U must never. Just to warn you that there are fake feminist girls whose understanding of Feminism starts from revealing body and they are about to come after u (probably me also). They like male gaze but in subtle ways without accepting. Few fancy words would be used like 'I wanted to look nice' or 'it's your eyes' or maybe giving examples of some 'rapists' to justify that there is nothing wrong with their approach. Ofcourse, If they wear normal clothes then they won't be getting that much attention. GRWM and all that shit. Everyone knows how the algorithm works but the one who calls out will be silenced.

What a strange time. Are we intentionally being puzzled?

Both the genders are openly saying "WE DON'T WANNA GET MARRIED / WHATS THE BENEFIT OF MARRIAGE / ALL GUYS/GIRLS ARE THE SAME"

Think from a broad perspective and not from an individual perspective - are we intentionally being puzzled to ...
