Corporate means municipal corporation water supply. Borewell, you already know. Obviously the corporation's water supply is better as the maintenance cost will be cheaper. Those details can't be trusted. Go and enquire in person.

Ideally should have both. Depending on either one can lead to problems during water shortage.

Better yet, ditch Bangalore altogether and move to a city that can provide basic water to its residents 😂
