I had 4.52 overall still got B and my friend also had similar rating but got A band. So it depends on project to project and manager as well.
Is it also dependent on the unit? Last year i had 4.33 overall and got B band and one of my friend in a different project had 3.6 and got A band and his teammates also got A band having less than 4 overall rating he said it depends on the unit as well.
A-C 🌚 Doesn’t matter what you got… all depends on your manager and HR.

Rating is different and Bands are different. Please do not believe that rating affects the band. Rating is just a number, hikes are dependent on bands. Not a lot of people get A bands in the same project in the same rating range. It's just a game of luck where the manager is the dice and the dice thrower, if I may. 😂 If you're a critical resource and are on the verge of leaving, you get an A miraculously. If you're a resource whom they want to groom or want to squeeze all the juice, you get an A. You did something exceptionally well, you get an A. Most importantly...you're the manager's boot licker, you get an A.
