CSR spending is usually towards education, because measuring outcomes is easier and faster. I wonder if this signals a need for CSR spending to go towards other areas — especially those that are more long term in nature and cause public discomfort. You’ll never see CSR spending going towards anything relating to sexual violence/abuse — large companies will are shy to even associate themselves with such words.
