
Was asked to submit a bunch of documents even before an offer letter
I got the message from the recruiter that I have cleared all the rounds and no mention of “HR discussions” yet. They asked me to submit a bunch of documents including PF, Bank statements, Previous offer letters, payslips etc even before rolling out an offer letter. How should this be handled? as it seems unusual.

Not an issue. This is for background verification. Send them the documents - they are pretty standard anyways.

Even before the offer letter and an HR call? I understand and I’m ok sending a few documents, but bank statements, getting a feeling that this is over the line, is it?

They do this for BGV and some validation of your experience.
