Want to switch from Accenture in 9 months and have a offer from service based startup

I have 5 years of experience in web development and have been with Accenture (Operations division) for the past 9 months at CL-11 with a fixed salary of 9.36 LPA. However, the current project uses outdated technology, and I'm not seeing much growth.

I’ve received an offer from a service-based startup in Gurugram with a fixed 15 LPA package. I’m considering making the switch but have a few doubts:

  1. Is it a good idea to move to a startup, considering the risk to job security?

  2. MNCs offer more stability, even if projects aren't always exciting. Startups can be risky in comparison—should that be a concern?

  3. If I resign, is there a chance Accenture might try to retain me?

  4. Would it be better to stay another year and try for an internal transfer to a better tech project within the technology division?

Accenture would never try to retain, even if they do it's not guaranteed that they will match the offer and if you are lucky and they match it they will say it will be done in next cycle of promotion and by that time your other offer will also be gone. In start ups work pressure will be high and you need to provide report for each hour that you charge. However there will be great learning. If you are willing to take risk for the growth then you must do it. If you have family responsibility then think twice from all aspects.

Micro management is also in my current project, however I know how to handle those things, so that's not an issue... The main concern is job stability, Idk how the next 6mnths goes on bcoz the main concern with high package in startup is if they will not get projects from the market then they can be fire me.

You can resign and during the notice period you may get an offer from MNC too

Considering the current market and uncertainty , switching to Startup won't be a good idea. You will be at risk of getting laid off

Looking uncertainty in market switch itself would be a good idea? How's opening in market now?

Dude accenture is not gonna retain, not gonna give any promotion, no buy out approvals, no hikes.
It’s just the name now that has remained not the status anymore. After US’s cost cutting where they have not renewed contracts with consulting and servicing companies, forget about all the perks that Accenture had to offer earlier.

Yes, I know that nd with only 9mnths of resources never.

if you have an offer, you are safe to resign and then use your notice period to get better offers. you might get a better offer from a 'stable' employer. and if nothing, you atleast have your startup offer.. staying back doesn't make much sense as there is hardly anything you can expect from here now..

Yes, things are going on might be i will get next offer in upcoming weeks bcoz most of the things are finalized there, In Accenture apart from stability nothing else, no hikes, no fast track promotions nothing.
