Trending @Cognizant; Want to sue Cognizant

I saw someone mention that they wanted to complain against their manager, and I feel the same way.

I was supposed to be promoted 2.7 years ago, but back then they said my performance wasn’t good enough. I took the feedback seriously, improved, and eventually got a rating of 4.

Now, they’re saying I didn’t comply with WFO (Work From Office), but the issue is—I’ve been using VDI to connect, and it doesn’t work properly on the Cognizant network. They never provided an ODC or any internal network access. When I raised this, their response was simply, “Turn on your hotspot and work.”

This issue has been ongoing since the start of the project.

The worst part? My manager never replies to messages—about this or anything else. But when he wants something, he calls directly.

I’ve been under a lot of stress—financial and emotional—to the point where I started experiencing panic attacks. I’ve since been diagnosed with depression, OCD, and ADHD.

When I asked for a release from the project, even that was denied.

And to make things worse, people who did get released from the project were promoted immediately after.

At this point, I’ve collected screenshots that show how little they care—but what can we do?

All we can do is warn anyone thinking of joining Cognizant: Don’t.

I would suggest you to look for other opportunities rather than fighting with a bunch of Cognizant's incels.

Go ahead bro, Don't take suggestions from anyone, very few will support you here. It's high time we should unite and fight. Otherwise nothing will change. We all have that spark in us , time has come to convert that spark to fire. They are violating labour laws.

I was the one who posted about suing my manager and HR, bro don't think too much just lodge a petition in your nearest court. Most people here are afraid of loosing job, but they don't see if we don't fight for our rights, whichever company we go they will exploit us. Switching is obviously an option but still that doesn't mean things will be good in other companies. Just lodge a complain and fight for what you deserve.

Raise it to your HCM and if taht doesnt work approach a HR lead. And always communicate in emails to keep record

I had a word with my HCM and that only proved that this is Cognizant and no justification is done whatsoever.
