Trending @Wipro; Want to explore my career in Managment role.
I am a Salesforce developer with overall 6 years and relevant 4.5 years of experience already in notice period. I want to grow my career in management role. What should be the pathway for this and how I can achieve it. I don’t want to continue as a developer now. Any help guidance /mentoring is appreciated 🙂
Why? Are the roles such as delivery manager, delivery head are not good ?
I did that switch, as manager role looks fancy and technical feels under stress and no future. But after that I realised the biggest mistake, good for me I had option to come back to tech again, now I have seen both I recommend being on tech side. Anyways towards later years you will end up doing managment so don’t hurry.
Go for PMP certificates or start working as PMO ROLE...you will able to understand the Management task and slowly you will move forward to Lead and then manager role.. but in Management it's completely non technical... so think wisely and then move from technical to Management path... all the best
Same here I am 3 years into Servicenow Development but want to move to management or BA related roles. Any suggestions appreciated
