Want Resign Clarity ??
If I resign and the project doesn't have any dependency on me will I still get a 3 month notice period ??
Actually In my case I want a 3 month notice period so that I can prepare for interviews , is it possible or they would not give me any notice period ?? Please if anyone knows anything on this matter please explain here , I really need to listen to the answer ??

I believe I can answer your question, I have put down my papers twice in this organisation, and this time (3rd) I am leaving for good. Both the times they have matched. Unfortunately this time lets just say the new HR and PM tried playing smart althought I am a critical resource, so Chuck em.
Kudos to you for deciding to leave this organisation. If there is no Dependency but you are doing work, till they find a new resource you are expected to serve NP. But if they do find a new resource the decision depends on your manager based on when the new resource can join the project. If they can join lets say mid of your NP or last month of your NP then you can serve full 3 months else again they can decide and do accordingly.
Let me just give you a heads-up that the 3 months NP is actually the biggest blocker for us. First month you will get i interviews from WITCHA out of which one of em will give the first offer. Usually a low balled offer. Then second month mid tier companies will reach out. Final month the product based and actual resource rich companies.
The interview experiences are really a game changer you learn alot where you stand in the global talent pool. So you can learn and prepare more accordingly. Dont fret if they dont get back to you soon cause most cases its the 90 day NP. You would be able to assess yourself how well you do in the tech round but yeah dont worry. Most likely ghosting is something you would face. Clearing tech round but further rounds get delayed. Dont fret about that its mostly the turn off due to 90 days NP.
If you are below 30 and have no huge responsibility on your shoulder drop paper. Especially if you believe in your skill set. See even if they release early its a bonus cause you will get better calls for immediate hire in that case. Fast tracking career. But like I said confidence in the skill set is important. All 3 times I put down my paper without having an offer in hand.

Prepare for interview before resigning
