Trending @Infosys; Want release from RCLADM Unit and current project
I want release from my current project, but my manager and there manager are not releasing me, there is no such kind of dependency on me, but still they are not ready to release, what can I do for it.
I tried to talk with mngrs but they won't tell properly, even talked with HR but they are saying to discuss with managers.
Even if I try to get into other projects from other units, there manager can't mapped me because I am already on production, so how can I get rid of this.
I want release from this unit. If someone gone through this phase, then please do advise..!

Same thing happened with me managers are not ready to release the resources
May be because there’s a resource crunch or I also heard they get some benefits(incentives) for billable resources
I tried everything but not able to get released so finally put the paper and looks some hope now

Same thing happened for me. I asked release but they were not ready to release me and they gave NI rating. Now i am in PIP. If the project is not related to your skillset then it will happen

But how you get release from your unit while you was on project on production

Why u want ? Adm are good units

Mine unit is RCLADM, like this there are many adms.. issue is in my unit most of the projects r of migration.. it's not development.. and m not interested in such work.. plus they asks a developer to srch for some stupid keywords in GitHub . To send follow up mails.. like this they r giving work.. so want release form this unit and project.. but my manager is not listening to me

Oh i am from same. Doing migration. But i thing as a fresher its good. Better than support

RCLADM and DNA are two of the worst units!!!!!!!

Yeah but am stuck here. How can I get release front this stupid unit and project

Possible options -
- Step up with IJP.
- Upskill on different technology and ask them to release you as your new skills don't match with them.
- Fight like HELL with them.
- Switch for better opportunities, use the phrase truly "Navigate to next".

You have no option within Infosys. To be eligible for IJP you need to be on a project for 1.8 months. Your manager can’t release as he is only responsible for his project and he is not thinking beyond it . No benefit for him to release you . He will lose a billable resource . You will need to go higher up , maybe upto DM and give it a shot. They may look at it from different lens.mention your strengths and how your are being grossly under utilized and how you can train a junior to do this work.. Mentio. Everything in a professional way and but emotional way.
