I joined Accenture yesterday and was allocated into a project on the same day without any project interview but the project is totally different from my domain and it is an internal project, can I take release from that project and will there be any consequences.

What worse will happen if you work on a different domain? You’ve just joined atleast spend 6 months on the current project maybe it gives your work life balance or maybe open better opportunities for you! Without being fussy about it just stick to what’s offered and explore something new. Use your existing domain into this if that’s possible

You cannot get released before 18 months into the project. The best you can go is to discuss it with your manager and hope he agrees.
