Want release from project
I'm a fresher with C1 grade. I'm in a ultimatix project for 3 months but the work culture is hilarious and also my manager. I stopped working saying that I don't know the technology and mailed him for release. Now the RMG called me and threatened, saying that we will stop your pay and you have to work there. I'm yet not working and said that I am interested in python, AI/ML so want to work in those projects . Basically I am making excuses to get out from the project. Also, I am going to office daily for 9 hours but doing nothing.
So how can I get release and can they stop my salary in this case or what should I do. Please help me.
As it is an ultimatix project, ask them whether you will get a chance to move to fresco play project or ion related.
If you are confident in not caring about your appraisal or incentives then go ahead and ask them for release but politely, also mention that it will affect your career and if possible showcase the projects you have done in Python or ML.
If you are not confident, work for a couple of months and if you still have the same feeling ask for release like you should get released the next day.
Its been 10 years in this company and trust me this is a difficult task, this may hamper your upcoming appraisals and promotion so act accordingly
Sir, I'm not worried about appraisal and promotion but my only concern is that they will apply stop pay or not as I have plan to switch and also preparing for defence.

You can discuss your aspirations with HR not sure how much they will help you but try and learn is one of the options you are currently having if you want to stay in TCS
