Trending @Cognizant; Want an advice on my issue

Hi All, I am a lateral hire who joined this company on Nov 6th 23. At first I was placed on a dummy assignment. My manager assured me that project allocation happens soon. The response related to the thing was too slow that even first rejection came after one month of follow ups. At the end of last year i was moved to bench. Everytime i ask regarding my project, my message is left on seen. Later on at end of January i got another message that my profile got rejected coz they already have another resource who got released recently. Though I don't have bench ageing as of now, I am worried on project allocation and couldn't find any jobs even outside related to my profile. Had to postpone all of my personal programs due to this bench rto policy. Requesting your advice on how to proceed further. I am really losing patience and knowledge i gained from my last company.
