
Wake up RMG's
The problem with RMG in TCS is that they have forgotten that their job is primarily to enquire the required skills for open positions and then quickly map a resource reporting to them with that specific role/skill
Instead what they actually think is that their job is to monitor what the reportee's are wearing, are they in formals, are they tucking their shirts. They think their job is just a data entry job as soon as you go to them they pull out the excel and start typing emp id and skill set and God knows what they do with these excel's
I went to enquire about the allocation from a project where I cleared the CE. The first thing he said to me is that you haven't tucked your shirt. What example are you setting to the juniors
Why will I ever want to set example for a Junior by what I am wearing, I would instead set example with my work.
How does it make a difference if I tuck my shirt for two minutes of meeting with RMG, they aren't clients or nor is it an interview for me to tuck my shirt.
Few months back when I was forming a team and needed a tester with 3-5 yr exp range, I remember mailing the RMG who did not even respond to the mail for weeks even after multiple reminders and then on copying her manager in cc, she sent back a list which I had already filtered with most of the people being from bpo grade without any testing exp
Yes you can blame the resource for being on bench for months but why no one is holding these RMG's responsible, they are equally responsible for the piling bench strength
Biggest reason why its taking so long for the employees on the bench to find project is all irrelevant calls come when you go on bench even after daily updating skillset and desired role to RMG Secondly the accounts are being forced by these lazy RMG's to give confirmation that they will hold the resources for 2 years which many accounts fail to do so Thirdly many accounts evaluate and never share back any update or feedback, saying I will submit my positive feedback right away.

Don't worry, RMG and HR position (after call center jobs) are very prone to be replaced by AI in the very near future.
IBM and other major tech giants have already kicked them out, now it is high time to kick them out from the IT industry too without any mercy.
They are the worst people with no talent and full ego.
They have two sided faces, one in social media platforms where they pretend to be the protector of employees rights, in reality they are always hungry to exploit the hard working employee and suck our all their hard earned money into their profit along with management.

They tried to place me in a support role, while I had 5+ years of experience as data scientist building ML models. When I tried refusing they said HRs will take action. Seemed kinda bossy too, then I asked sir, what's your manager's name? I will drop an email marking you, my manager, my HR and your manager. He went blank for 5 seconds and said it's against policy to give personal info any anyone and went inside the RMG - Roaming mindlessly gay ROOM.

Recently guards in office has started asking to put ID card on neck.

Nowadays RMG / HRs are doing side hustle of Guards as well because they also aware that they will be replaced by AI so they are trying to adjust themselves in alternative position.. that's also kind of resource management for RMGs itself.

This organisation is turning into a school 🤣
