
Virtusa : salary negotiation
Hi guys, I have 9.4 years of experience cctc : 20.2 LPA Currently im working as specialist.
How much i can ask virtusa..? And designation(as per my yoe) ..?
Can somebody pls guide.. Are they given Joining Bonus..?

First ask for their pay range for your experience and role. If they ask you first quote 35-37lpa for your experience/ first quote is always a bluff always quote 20% more than what you expect. If HR negotiates go down to 33-34lpa range/ this shows you willingness towards joining and give HR a small win so that they feel good. Tell why you will be a valuable asset to the company, if your interview went well put that as a plus point in the conversation. If you use Al tools like cursor, open ai, ghcp, devin ai or have worked on something you can tell that as well to get more leverage on your side to boost your efficiency metrics. They will probably negotiate further but don't settle for less than 27-28 Ipa.
