Views on post AI world
I know that a majority of the folks here are with a software background. Are u worried about jobs?
Also what are your views on joining a startup vs MnC?
I also want to know what u think of high-paying non tech jobs like Forward Deployed Engineer / GTM / Strategy / Ops, etc? I do believe that they are here to stay because a company would always need say sales guy over a coder
No one can predict the future in today's complex world of rapid technological change, and so no one is prematurely optimizing for a post-AI world.
Most people are doing what is earning their paycheck today, not optimizing for the future. In the future if the conditions change, and their paychecks stop at some point, people will then adapt into other ways of earning a paycheck by learning new skills, whatever is needed under those new conditions.
So you also don't worry about the future too much. You can cross that bridge when it arrives. Just work on whatever will earn your paycheck this month.

makes sense :)

Nah not worried, can't imagine one guy giving commands to add / create feature /apps and then it doesn't work as expected. It'll always be alive only along side developer. Like a parasite.
