There was this guy I worked with, he was good technically but he always thought he runs the whole organisation. Once for no urgent deliverable he took call with client for 7.5 hours non stop.. that too on thanks giving day of that client. The client escalated but this guy found himself proudly mentioning that he utilised thanks giving effectively ☹️☹️ Luckily I left that organisation because just for this 1 or 2 guys, we had to work minimum 16-18 hours everyday. And guess what, the other guy with me in the team who Used to work these many hours died of heart attack leaving his small children behind. That day I dropped a message on that teams WhatsApp to stop working non stop like a horse and this guy had the audacity to Ask me on personal chat if I was referring to him… don’t you get it already?? He is still like that but m glad I don’t work with them anymore. Yes, learnt a lot from them but don’t want to risk my life
Always walk away from toxic bosses client or relationship . Don’t worry too much
