Trending @Wipro; Venting frustation
Because Apparently, Being a Campus Hire, a 2019 Passout, and a Full-Time Employee Since Then Still Isn’t Enough
I was a campus hire who passed out in 2019 and have been working at Wipro ever since — six years of continuous, documented service.
Yet somehow, I’m now being relentlessly harassed by background verification teams over one missing document: my degree certificate, which I couldn’t collect due to unavoidable reasons. I’ve already provided every other piece of evidence — all semester-wise marksheets, course completion certificate, employment records — everything short of my X-rays and dental history.
But that’s not enough.
All this drama is, of course, being done for a client I’m not even allowed to name, making the process even more absurd. I guess when secrecy meets bureaucracy, common sense leaves the chat.
It’s amazing how six years of real work can be questioned over one piece of paper that says the exact same thing as the dozen others I’ve already submitted. Apparently, trust and proof are two separate departments now — and neither is hiring.
Thank you, BGV, for turning a straightforward process into a masterclass in frustration. In 2025, it seems being genuine just isn’t enough — unless it comes with the right stamp and signature.

From past 6 years why they did not ask?

Wipro does not require it after a point. It's the customer that needs it now. Ideally, Wipro would ask too. And in case you plan to switch, that is something you will need for the new organisation. After certain years, no company accepts provisional certificate
In this case, the customer would have stringent BGV and it would fail without degree certificate

Damn that sucks, but why don't you collect it? If I were you, it would have been my number 1 priority to collect it. Its ok 6 years have passed, let the past be past, but now you should collect it. That piece of paper has more value than the memes on internet would like you to believe. Without it, you won't clear BGV of any new company.

I did provide provisional

Admit you fucking mistake dude , it your fault for not providing cirtificate , and stop whining
