Vehicle musical chair at Porter πΊ
Fantastic news at Porter! HR just informed us that we'll be playing a fun game of musical chairs with our vehicles every morning! Who wouldn't want to spend an extra 30 minutes every day circling the block looking for a spot to park? π€·π»ββοΈ
And if we're not lucky enough to snag one of the precious 35 car spots, we'll get to spend the rest of the day worrying about whether or not we'll get towed or ticketed for parking in the wrong spot.
What an adventure! π€π» Thanks, HR, for always keeping things exciting around here!

This is why wfh

But but.. HR believes parking spot lottery is more fun.. and wfh is intolerable... Also, it's a kickass adrenaline rush in the morning to help you be productive...

Company is also responsible or its leaders. Anyway, more of such scenes could also be a silent request to quit nowadays.

Yeah, people like you show up in the office by 12 or 1 PM and leave by 5 or 6 PM. Do you really know that we donβt have fixed office timings at Porter. If you are not getting parking spot, then you are coming after 11 AM. So obviously lottery spot is for you, and yes HR wants to improve your productivity. More over it was clearly communicated in the email, the parking space is according to the ratio of employees capacity in the building. For 1 person like you, a 4-5 capacity car comes out on Bangalore roads. Why donβt you travel in public transport or come by bike? You bring the car out on the roads for your own convenience and complaint about traffic and parking space. Which makes sense only for hypocrites like you.

I really hope this is a troll and not an actual thing which happened.

I see this happening everyday with Flipkart folks. I work in a different company though. We don't have that problem. One day I saw close to 20 cars of Flipkart employees locked with a wheel lock. If they can't afford parking, why call the employees to office.

I can confirm that, it's a daily thing for us, and we even got mail internally that the company is not responsible for the action taken by ETV.

Book a Porter and come in the truck to office!! HR is trying to build revenue!
