Yes, bench folks do get variable pay in the form of a performance bonus which is paid out on a quarterly basis. Eligible Bonus Percentage according to Budget/Unit Performance is communicated. Example: ME(3) rating may get 70%, CM(4) may fetch 80% while OS(5) may attract 90%.
