As far i noticed, percentage is given on many factors like individual, project and DU profit then once you got percentage calculate it for fixed pay and divide by 2 then its your Vp, if you have 100percent billable else multiple with billability

Ex: fixed pay is 1000000 vp percentage 5% then 1000000* 0.05= 50000 , now divide it by 2 which is 25000 if your billability is 100, if its 80% then 25000*0.8=20000

I think the amount is on base pay so let say if base pay is 10LPA the 5% of it is 50k/2 means 25k and you are 84% chargeable for that 6 months then calculate it like 25k is for 6 months but as you are chargeable for only 5 month you will receive 5x25k/6 means 20,833

This is How it works

Suppose your base pay is 12 lpa and you are L10 so 21% is variable.

So 12 lakhs *21% = 2,52,000 - this is the max you can get in a complete year.

Now, whatever your VP % is, let's suppose it is 12%.

So 12/21 *100 = 57.14%

So your variable pay would be 57.14% of 252000 for a year and divide it by 2 for 6 months.

There might be a difference of 20-30₹ but it's okay
