I'm from finance background, currently working in Service Management in IT.
I need a mentor to teach me "Valuation and Financial modeling (DCF, M&A Model)" Searching for a career in Investment banking on above roles.
Can someone help me out with learning and guiding me to achieve that.

Even I wanted to pursue a career in finance but I’ve been put in a very non finance industry for a non finance role … how to switch to IB?

It's bit difficult to change , depends on your lead and manager. If they are good to can change the domain.
If you want to change the domain, you need to search for project and get.
Do u know valuation and financial modeling??
