Edtech is now simply making money by guilt tripping people about their financial status . Why everyone in edtech ends up becoming snake oil salesman with answer to all your problems ?
I think it has a lot to do with the VC funding model. Education se one can make decent money if done properly with good value delivered. The problem arises when 30x multiple is needed by the VCs. These people also took VC funding (no idea why) and hence I think resorting to such stupidity.
I would really like him to talk about his revenue and not the funding all the time. And its like 5m and not even 50 😂
