
Vague Band Excuse by Manager- RTO
Two of my colleagues got C band. On communication with Manager, he told they sent as B but higher management/HR on account of RTO gave you C.
When I checked with them, they had more that 60% RTO in all quarters.
I don't understand, when will TCS stop to loot its own employees like this! 😒

RTO needs to be more than 85 percent. Then the same band will stay.

This is just an excuse to theft our share and show it as their profits. No where it was mentioned, that it will affect appraisal.
Also, already they were cutting variable pays due to RTO.
Such a shameless company.

They are so confident that they think they can cut work force and still get work done. We should unite and boycut TCS. Everyone should try switching by learning. I think TCS gives good sources for learning. And please everyone stop atleast one person from joining TCS. Atleast one person around you would join TCS as a fresher. Please stop them.

TCS is just for learning. Make use of the chances you get to learn and jump to start up companies or any product based companies. You will feel the heat every year if you stay back in TCS

They just want to cut the employee strength by doing indirect ways like Removing Hybrid,WFO exceptions,...now this snatching hikes and giving the same to shareholders instead through Dividends to Hike of current CEO of TCS in the current appraisal... Disgusting

Whats RTO??

From my experience, the band is decided in this order:
- The hours you worked in office premises
- Your RTO %
- Your Reviewer's perception of you
- Your Manager's perception of you
- Your performance in the year
