UX Dark pattern by Flipkart

They are showing the total price as 65k in EMI. But when you see the per month amount and manually add it, that sums to 68k.

They are intentionally not adding the interest amount to total. And confusing users with the total amount.

I believe that's because the bank charges the interest and not FK. They only charge the product amt and later your bank changes the txn to EMI adding interest, processing fees etc..

You only pay the amount listed, in the emi that you pay will be adjusted for interest. So when you make the transaction 65k is what will be blocked from your credit limit
