USA Onsite Salary
Hello Everyone,
Does anybody know how TCS decides one's salary for onsite on an L1A visa. Is it the same for every individual? Or based on experience and Indian salary will be decided? Basically how do we know our offered onsite salary is correct or not or we don't have any choice? Any inputs on this would greatly help.

TCS determines onsite salary based on multiple factors, including your experience, current Indian salary, role, and location of deployment. It’s not the same for everyone, and L1A visa salaries generally follow company-defined bands. To check if your offer is fair, compare it with USCIS’s wage data for L1A roles and market standards for similar positions. You can also negotiate if the offer seems lower than expected, but choices are often limited in TCS’s structured pay system.
Thanks for your valuable input. I do have one more query related to Salary mentioned in the petition. Does TCS pay only the amount mentioned in the petition exactly or will it increase based on PPP? as the one mentioned in the petition is very low compared to the PPP of my current salary.
