USA Family Expenses

Anybody working in USA would like to share their monthly family expenditure from real life experience? And please mention state. Family with one or two child. Daycare, school expenses, car running cost, home, grocery, etc. Need to compare it with India with respect to salaries.

A lot of my coworkers who have kids in the Bay Area spend north of 10k dollars a month.
Big ones are 4k a month in rent, 2k for day care, 1k for 2 cars(you need 2 cars in the Bay Area)
