US Visa Interview Experience

Have my B1/B2 visa interview lined up. Weirdly anxious about this. Have spent a significant amount of money to get an appointment. Share your experience, tips, what to say and not to say…

How did you get a visa appointment so easily and early?

Not easily for sure. I had applied in September 2023.

This Telegram group is quite helpful. It has an automated bot which posts instantly whenever a US B1/B2 visa slot is available. It helped me in getting an appointment

It is quite straightforward, all you need to prove to them is that you’re going there for a genuine reason: Business/Tourism/Meeting relatives. If they see the slightest reason suggesting that you intend to overstay in sights of a green card etc. they will reject.

Basically make them believe that you will be returning after the trip. You can tell about the existing salary, your family connections in India. Purpose, previous travel history etc.

Also make sure that you can present your case without looking at any documents.
