US Tarrifs silently creating recession, do you think layoffs will become common?

One thing I have found is just like any decision, economic decision also has first order impact and second order impact.
On tariffs, US will experience the first order impact. So they may face recession. India will not experience any direct impact. But since US is the largest economy, we will feel some heat. But not a full blown recession.
We will not face any impact. Just the usual cribbing by our cry baby CEOs.
Are you a founder or is it just a tag?

What is tripping?. My assessment of the economic scenario or calling the ceos cry babies?

Be prepared, but not unnecessarily worried. I don’t think tariffs will have much impact on the Indian market job scene for existing employees. Sooner or later, US will realize it won’t work with such sudden policy changes, and the end result will anyway be handled better by India, due to various aspects. In other words, while there may be hiring slowdown, and delayed/lesser hikes etc, but I don’t think it will lead to massive layoffs. Little bit of layoff here and there, has anyway been a norm by now.
