Point is established second time founders should pursue ambitious problems given they have already made money to fulfill their monetary needs through their first startup. Second startup should be more mission driven to solve real problems. Who better than established second time founders to solve these challenges. Lot of Indian second time founders can draw inspiration from Nandan Nilkeni in this regard. Executing a ponzi scheme is easy but building something that delivers real value requires visionary thinking and effort.

The Tatas, Premjis are better examples. They are actually wealthy and are making our country better.
For example, Tata actually got the automobile manufacturing sector here.
It’s cause it’s hard to compare the ecosystem in India and the US.
There’s a huge difference in terms of economy and the disparity between people with disposable income is very less when compared to US.
We need to focus on things that cater to the majority as end of the day everyone is here to make money founders included. The apps & businesses which have come so far have actually improved our standards of living.
Ambitious projects can be done when the basic requirements are all met and conquered and our consumer mentality shifts as well. Till then we’re going to have to build our way up there.
