
US projects in TCS has very late evening working in India. Why they do not pay any shift allowance? No This is unethical.
Why such culture exists in TCS? Why is HR no naive to all these things?

If this is state of things in these big(bug) companies of India. Imagine the plight in other cos... They are showing the trend.
Psychological games played by these cos initially has transformed into norms of daily life!
If folks are treated as daily wage eraners (they say knowledge workers, all bullshit) and we should behave like that with these so called managers in just that mannerisms of a daily wage worker! ... And never ever miss earning even a rupee extra, should not be missed.
I was talking to my excollegue, presently in another reputed cos, said he is being audited of giving spot rewards to his team mates... And being probed of any favour in return from colleagues... And this is the same cos who every week put a email reminder of giving away rewards to his team mates to recognise good work! Hilarious.
We need to be careful of sinister designs at workplace.

It depends upon ur ctc, i know people with 4-5lpa doing this and people with 1cr doing the same… compensation should be in higher end

The way the entire IT system eco system works is wait and watch to the point big escalation or breakdown of things/system. These organizations does so much of loud talk on proactive thinking/ process, the HR/sr mgmt is just sitting to get reactive only if someone complains of health issues, etc - Classic example of exploit the labour.
Why should someone adjust to US timings sitting in India, when being paid as per Indian work standards in Indian time zone. There has to be a shift allowance of reasonable amount (not limited to a veg meal + bus service for convenience)
Hope the Govt updates the law to enforce allowances for any work beyond normal 9 working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Resources are also conditioned these ways - free during the day and working at night —— BUT THIS DOESNT WORK FOR ANYONE — females especially want NORMAL WORKING HOURA

cant agree more…… its very frustrating and too much taixng on the body. Situations worsened after covid I feel,in wfh these people think we sit till 12 in the night……
Management or entire team can only do something
be strict that offshore will be available offshore normal timings providing some overlap with US counterparts but will not be sitting late hours
Last week there was a client meeting regular ( not something urgent ), and they aksed if 10pm works for India team —- Believe me out of 7 people in the team, only I was there who had issues - everyone else was just fine to attend and didnt ask for earlier slots at alll
