
Urgent Request for Intervention: Unlawful Salary holding, Harassment, and Coercion by TCS HR.
I am writing to urgently seek your intervention and support regarding severe workplace harassment, financial exploitation, and unethical practices faced by me and several colleagues at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Despite repeated attempts to resolve these issues internally, the HR department has consistently ignored, delayed, or retaliated against employees raising concerns.

Unlawful Salary Suspension :
- My salary has been withheld for more than 3 months despite regular office attendance, with no prior written notice or justification.
- This has caused extreme financial hardship: inability to pay EMIs, medical bills for my mother and child, or meet basic family needs.

Forced Resignation & Extortion :
- TCS abruptly blocked access to company portals/emails citing "bench status," then demanded repayment of salaries earned during bench time as a precondition for releasing experience letters.
- Employees are coerced to sign a "recovery note" under duress and resign, violating labor rights and contractual terms.

Harassment & Intimidation :

HR personnel forced me to wait for hours for trivial 5-minute discussions, confiscated my phone during meetings, and pressured me into signing documents under unethical conditions.

Mental health of multiple employees has deteriorated due to systemic bullying and financial stress.

Resignation letter was not accepted by HR.
-TCS HR treat to every employee for Domestic enquiry.

Yes I was on the bench, not reported to the office, Not received any mail or call before salary suspend/salary recovery mail and access black .
RMG and HR fail to provide Project call
Now they are targeting many employees

Dude did not report to office??? Are others at TCS mad to report to office on RMG?? You waited for final nail in the coffin and now you are crying for your own fault... what did you expect, for such audacity. They have clearly instructed about 5 days WFO and if not followed there will be actions taken You should have reported to office....

- Gather All Evidence
Before proceeding legally, collect: • Salary slips, employment contract, and HR communication (emails, chat messages). • Any proof of threats, extortion, or forced resignation attempts. • Proof that your resignation was submitted but not accepted. • Records of complaints you submitted internally (like to HR or Ethics Committee).
- File a Complaint with the Labour Commissioner
Under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, salary delays or non-payment can be taken up with: • Labour Commissioner of your region. • File a written complaint describing: • Non-payment of salary. • Forced resignation or coercion. • Harassment or unethical conduct.
The Labour Office will summon the employer and try to resolve the dispute through conciliation.

Send a Legal Notice • Hire an employment lawyer and send a legal notice to TCS HR and management. • The notice should demand: • Immediate release of pending salary. • Cease of harassment or threats. • Withdrawal of any false domestic enquiry proceedings, if malicious.

Approach the Civil Court / Labour Court • If TCS doesn’t respond, you can: • File a case in the Labour Court or Industrial Tribunal (if you fall under the “workman” category as per ID Act). • Or, approach a Civil Court if you’re in a managerial/consultant role.

Your post and blames are very vague . Why and how HR did all these to you is important...
You must be on bench for long time and not accepting project or not reporting to office only then HR takes action ... If you did everything right and HR is taking action then put details here and you might get support ....

I'm not getting project calls, RMG and HR fail to provide call
They are misbehaving with many employees and some employees have recordings also.
From January going to the office regularly then also not getting salary

I agree RMG is worst dept of tcs. They really don't care about the concerns and behave as if some collector office. You will get all the calls which is not relevant or no call at all.
But lastly you could have atleast maintained the RTO compliance in bench. Anyway involve Corporate HR if you think you have valid points. Or else legal proceedings at last.
