Urgent: Remote Work from the U.S. on a Tourist Visa

I am currently working at TCS, and my husband is in the U.S. However, he is not an H-1B holder, and I do not wish to leave my job.

I wanted to check if TCS allows employees to work remotely from the U.S. on a tourist visa, especially if I opt for a night shift to align with Indian working hours. Could you please provide clarity on the policy regarding this?

I have also same question so I asked to manager, He said we can’t directly carry our laptop outside in India. You need to take approvals for IS team

It's not just a matter of TCS. Once you arrive on tourist visa, immigration officer will need to see your return flight. Forget about TCS compliance, what you are about to do is illegal. Half of the people you are suggesting you to travel probably haven't even left their base location eve

You need to talk to your project managers/HR’s to get the permission to work from remote location especially outside india . It depends if they agree or not considering current wfo policies implemented
