Urgent help background check

Hi i will be joining full time in next month in private bank. in application form where its ask have Convicted of any.... had selected no I had a minor case few years back where the fine of 200₴ was paid on conviction. And case got disposed. It's not a major finance or IPC related case. It's reflecting in police station and court database. What should I do? Shall I inform HR about this my myself or will they catch me? Then I should explain. They will send me background check form in next week. If I say yes there will be mismatch between application and background check form. Please guide
