
Urgent help!
I am occupied in family medical emergency and yes its very critical(genuine),my mother is cancer survivor, hence my availability is getting affected very much ,its ON and off basis, however I am sending all communication to everyone for my availability and other updates also....but sometimes get heat from management,I know that there concern is also factual but on the other hand ,I am also unable because this mother's illness is also somewhere my moral responsibility...kindly suggest how to tackle this situation and clear my doubt-can they take any strong action against mr while I kept informed to everyone since beginning including HR too.

This is TCS, people stay here at low salary only because of such benifits which includes that you have variety of options in projects. Tell the management that your situation is critical and you can support the way you are doing. Eiether be this way or release

You need to understand hierarchy. From where you are getting heat and why? Do others depend on you for their work? If yes you need to step off from those kind of responsibilities. Where the heat has been able to reach higher? Did it went to HR?

Take care of your mother. Everything else can wait .

Ask for release. Job Security is the only thing due to which we all are here so be rest assured and take care of your family

similar situation my father went a blood clot brain surgery last year and Mom is suffering from schizophrenia but the manager are pushing to report back to base location and work from allocated ODC. They are not allowing to work from nearby common ODC
