Urgent Dont’t Scroll - Need help in Project Release

I’m being forced to work and manager keeps asking me to work and not giving me release as I have asked many time.

He is not ok to release for next year as well as he said we have done a lot to train you.

Please help me to get release if there is any good option.

I'm sooo done with the people managing this company. So my only advice to you is, find another job and QUIT TCS.

Resource hiring and allocation is indeed a costly process though it's not visible to the associates. What you can do is - clear your expectations, propose to train someone taking out some extra time, assure that post release you would be supporting to the best of your capability until your backup is upto speed. Post these assurances, ask for a tentative release date. This is the right way to go about it.

But if your management is toxic, doesn't want to listen to your expectations at all in assuring a proper work environment for you - then simply make your unwillingness to work felt in the project 😄

They are just not listening anything. I’m being harassed kind of. Did a biggest mistake of my life by joining TCS.

Thanks for your advice JohnWhack.

Your career is always number one priority, tell manager you will not work, he can't make you work by forcing you physically, TCS never fires you, we are kinda famous for that. You don't need email, words, skills here all you need is guts to say no. Even if they spent money to train you, guess what you're being underpaid as well. So be Stern and say NO. Nobody can do shit to you. Hold your ground. He will release you once his manager scolds him for not being able to make you work. Don't ever take the straight road, always be cutthroat.

If you really wanna leave the project be prepared for low band coz once you have argument with manager he will surely let it out when giving rating
But if you wanna get released from project gradually reduce the work from your side take some unplanned leaves mostly sick leaves if manager asks for the updates tell him that you are feeling mentally stressed and can't keep up with this
