Urgent career advice.

I have been in the same company for 6 years now. In the same role of MIS analyst for almost 3 years. Everytime I ask my manager for promo, the leadership changes and am back to proving again to the new manager. Has happened 3 times now. I am good with sql, tableu and advanced excel but of lately feel it's not my calling. I am frustrated and directionless and think of putting down papers. But home loan stops me from doing that. Job stalemate and career directionlessness is causing a lot of mental agony. Looking for some genuine feedback from someone who was in the same boat.
