Urgent Advice: SBI OR TCS

I am prime with 9 LPA joined TCS 6 months back. Now selected SBI Specialist officer IT with 18 LPA but inhand salary is same with mumbai location. Is it good offer for future growth? I don't want to stay In mumbai for whole life. Will I get good opportunity after joining sbi for switch?

SBI is way better. For long term perspective IT is not the field to be due to constant upskill required. Banking will provide name and fame over the period of time.

All the IT people in SBI are made to work in their HQ which is in Mumbai.. There will be no transfer whatsoever..you can try ur luck while switching .

Feeling like shit at 27.

27 Male ,got an offer of 20.5 lpa.

Most of the people I know here at grapevine are making way more and friends in my circle are making around 35-50 lpa.

Now I am confused,I have a lot of questions in my head.

Nope. This is very low. You should be earning atleast 4 CR per year at this age, else you will end up poor.
